Reviews system needs an update?

The reason for my reflection is that evaluations should be eliminated within a given timeframe and not be permanently maintained. Both positive and negative. An apartment that today has bad evaluations, tomorrow may have solved their flaws and in the same way a host that yesterday was great may have lowered their level of quality.
Who cares what an apartment or host was like two years ago? What interests you is to know how it is now. Therefore I think it is more logical, stimulating and useful (for hosts and guests) to have the current comments. For example the last 3 months.

3 months is a bit ridiculous. Maybe 15 or 18 months, as a guest may be very interested to know before booking, how the turnover was handled last Summer / high season with fast turnover, how cold it was last winter etc.
