TAXES!! What is deductible? Can we deduct separate lodgings?

Hi all,

Tax season is around the corner and we've never had to file taxes for a vacation rental before.  We were fortunate to have had a busy year to the point where we had to rent a separate home during the busy home.  Is this tax deductible? What else are we able to write off?  Thanks for the input!
