Cancelling a booking

I am trying to cancel a booking (with the agreement of the guest).  I have followed the instructions 4 times but the booking still comes up as Accepted.   It looks as if the cancellation has gone through as it tells me that I won't be charged as this is the very first time I have done this but still the cancellation is not made.  Is there something I  don't know?

Are you seeing that the days are still booked on the calendar?  Is that what you mean by looks like it hasn't been cancelled?  Even if Airbnb waived the financial penalty, they may not have waived the cancellation penalty of blocking your calendar for cancelling.
