Airbnb 'paid' me before I had entered my payment details

As a new host Airbnb told me that i had been paid but my only 'payment details' were my email address. So I linked my account to paypal (preferred) and to my bank account but that was 7 days ago and I have received no payment. What happens now?

Welcome to the Community Center! If Airbnb sent payout before you'd set up your payout preferences, you will need to contact them to make sure they try and send it again to the right place. This Community Help Guide explains the best ways to contact them.
