payment deducted but no confirmation about the booking

i made a booking with my credit card and the money was deducted yet no confirmation mail came nor is it showing under my trip where did the money go and is the booking done ???

I suppose you made a booking request @Shiva6 there is only a confirmed booking when the host has accepted. Time differences will play a role here if your booking were at the other side of the world.  Host has 24 hours to accept or decline your request.  In the meantime there will be a hold on your card, not an actual charge.

For immediate confirmation, you would need to choose a host that allows Instant Book.
