Whem a host is suspended

When a host is suspended the trip is removed from the guest's account, the accommodation details are no longer visible, and the guest can no longer message the host. However the guest is not informed of this. All they get is problems trying to find the trip and arrange arrival. Airbnb keeps the money they've made from the booking and the guest is left with the phone number of a shady stranger in another city.

Airbnb Case managers seem to think this is acceptable and normal, but surely it would be better to contact the guest, or at least leave some information in their account on what options are available.
