@Jane38 If you receive a reservation request or an inquiry you can always ask the guest to provide a proper photo and to complete the verification process if they have not done so already. You can also ask the guest to communicate in English as they can use Google Translate as well.
I've had situations where guests have pictures of dogs, etc. I tell them that I cannot accept their reservation until they upload a proper photo.
You should search for Google translate to get help for translating from one language to another.
Also, I would recommend setting your Reservation Requirements (on the first page of Manage Listing) to require Verified ID.
