Guest lost key

Hello everyone,

 

after hours of searching, I can still not find a way to contact airbnb, so I'm trying it here.

Unfortunately, my last guests lost the keys to my apartment. The key service had to come and broke the current lock to let them in and also severely damaged the front door. How can I get this sorted? 

If I use the resolution center, I have to already give a cost estimate. It will take some time to get the cost proposal, however, I also ready that I have to submit the complaint 48 / 72 hours after the check-out.

 

Any advice what to do / how I can get in contact with airbnb for this matter?

Hi @Ulrike3, Use the resolution center with your estimate to start the claim process.  You will need to provide a receipt when the repair is made and you should be paid if the guests agrees.  It is not a problem if the repair takes longer than 48/72 hours.  If the guest does not agree, then airbnb will decide how much you will be paid.  The best way I know to contact airbnb is via twitter direct message: @airbnbhelp
