That is what guests do, many of them find calling easier than comunicating via Airbnb with texts and many of them might not have Wi-Fi if they are out of the property. You can save screenshots if you text outside Airbnb in case you need them, but you should always try and comunicate via Airbnb and suggest the guests to do so.
