Can you cancel a pre approve?

Hi, I'm new to the hostin and I had received two people who ask me to stay on my place within two months in advance but I have now someone who wants to rent my room for a whole month on which the other guest only request it in case his Housing at the University doesnt work. I'm not trying to be mean I was going to talk to the person who isnt sure that I have someone waiting but I just want to know how does it work or if once I approve I can't cancel. thank you.

@MariaJose2 If you've sent a Pre-Approval to a guest and another guest is ready to book, you can accept the 2nd guest's request and the Pre-Approval is invalidated.   You can send as many Pre-Approvals as you want.  The first guest who accepts it or a guest who is ready to book gets the reservation upon your acceptance.  Here's how Pre-approvals work:
