What so good you had to post it twice !!

Ah, the system. Double the pleasure. What can a person do?

Me? Think I'll wish everyone heaps of good fortune, and hit the hay. Long day.

Never fear @Helen3, I have removed the duplicate. 🙂

Interesting article @Dunny0, thanks for sharing. Is this something you would be interested in?

Thank you. I had/have no idea at all why the software posted twice. But - thanks for
not only erasing one, but keeping the other up for all to see.

I think this type of accommodation is within the power of many AirBnB hosts to create,
and would put some adventure and excitement back into hosting, and perhaps go some way
toward avoiding the disease of focusing on price alone.

More? Ya want more? There are other interesting ventures going on in the world of accommodation.
We, as professional independent hosts, have a sacred duty to our families to stay abreast of such
new developments, never to be controlled, sidelined, herded in to a corral of poor options, nor to
lose sight of our dreams - for each one of us to be a towering titan of this industry. Brian did it, bless him.
Now each of us seeks to shine, to stand alone atop Everest as king/queen of the mountain.

Ingenious! And a young dynamic lady was the spark that got it going. Chapeau! Hats off to her.

Here's a challenge to all dear readers: what other wonders of the accommodation world have you stumbled across?
Please post any and all. Stimulate us. Challenge us. In the present mire of host-saturated cities and forever targeting
hordes of tourists, we all need new territory. Lebensraum. Room to breathe. Chance to pioneer.

@Dunny0 , how about you leave the  "Lebensraum" out of it? Surely you know its meaning......

Um, thanks. Please edit toward habitat, expanding to novel accommodation, fun, happy adventure,

sleeping under the stars, exploring new cultures. Really hoping to for interesting input, links. For example, came across this:

If we get a chance, will go there.

Ah mate, your a long way behind the times.....http://longitude131.com.au/

Longitude 131 has been going for a good few years now and I believe was originally credited with coining the expresion 'Glamping'!

It is camping, (or living in a tent) on an outrageous scale. With the 'Rock' in the background it is absolutely an awe inspiring experience. If there is one form of accommodation that I would consider to be the pinnacle of a sensual experience in one lifetime Dunny, this would be it!

You may not believe this Dunny but I can tell you from experience....You can actually read a book by starlight out there at Uluru!

Cheers.....Rob

Would absolutely love to walkabout out there. No TV. No music. No advertising. No tourists...wait. Working on that one.

Does sound great. Was in the deep Sahara 1975 with loony Aussies. Talk about middle of nowhere. But you can hear yourself think.

So still. Only dung beetles rolling balls up the dunes.

I looked into Tentrr.com, @Dunny0, but it is not in my country yet. I do like the idea of it.

Wish there were some networks to be introduced to good farm families.

Had to wander rural roads, knock on doors, chat up the folks in the fields.
