Email from Airbnb / idfy?

I received an email from Airbnb (looks like airbnb) about collaborating with some company called IDFy which will request personal information and will SEND someone home to verify the property. I am confused if this is legit and if I should provide data.

I'm not familiar with requirements for hosting in India, but my gut feeling here is scam.

There are too many click links on the message for me to feel good about it.

With really important things Airbnb will normally also post something on your dashboard, so better go from there.

If you do an internet search 'Airbnb email addresses' you'll find this page on their website informing about which ones are legit:

Better not react. If Airbnb really needs you to do something, they will let you know  with a notification to you directly on the site.

I would like to confirm that IDfy is a legitimate company. IDfy is AirBnB's verification service provider in India.
