Transportation to/from airbnb in Cancun

Wondering how most Americans traveling to Cancun would arrive to airbnb host locations (from airport or from another city).  Do they typically take an Uber, or rent a car, or arrange a ride with a local driver? 

If you are a Host in Cancun, what transportation service do you recommend?  Is there a transportation company that takes the guests from Cancun to Tulum/Chetumal on a day trip, or multi-day trip?  If so, that's the reasonable fare for such trips?    Any input is appreciated.

Here's what I do here in Phuket, we are 50km from the airport all our guest are tourist and some the first time being here,

We offer a Luxury minivan service (extra cost) we have used the same company for about 10 years and they have never let us down.

We prefer guest to use it as we know exactly where they are, we pass the details to the company and the driver is always there waiting and right now the airport is extremely busy, My guest dont have to wait,

When the driver leaves the airport he calls me so the we know what time they will arrive, It works great.

Maybe you could do a deal with a local company to pick up your guest..............?

@Kay1507   When we travelled in Cancun and Cozumel, we arranged for a taxi service.  There are numerous agencies at the airport that can do this for you, or you simply pick a service from the ranks of independent drivers at the airport.  

Day trips can be arranged through a local service -- we went to a hotel and spoke to the concierge there to arrange for a tour.

I think there are hosts that arrange transpo service. If not, there are local riders whom your host can connect to you.
