Guest Photo of DOG !!

I have had a number of Guests lately that do not have a photo of themselves or show their shirt, but not their face.

I thought the purpose of photo was to make sure the correct person arrived…

. . . should we be reporting this?

How do these photos get through the system in the first place?

@Dassi0 There is a setting you can have on your listing that requires guests to have a proper photo. This then allows you to cancel those guests who do not. Other than that there is no requirement for guests to have a photo of themselves.

@Mike-And-Jane0  there is no option for a proper photo, only a photo.

I also have a guest next week that only shows his chin.
and people upload logos instead of pictures of themselves

@Kirsten266 Please see Airbnb info below. As it says if the guest doesn't have a proper photo of their face you can, with this option clicked, cancel their reservation.

To require a profile photo:
DesktopiOS appAndroid appMobile browser

  1. Go to Listings and select the listing you’d like to require a photo for
  2. Click Policies and rules
  3. Under Guest requirements, enable Profile photo required

If a guest’s photo doesn’t include their face, or it features something unhelpful – like a cartoon – you can contact us to cancel, penalty-free.

Somewhat helpful.
What I really want to know, is should I report the photo issue, even if I do not wish to cancel?

— I ask them to show me ID when it happens

@Dassi0 No you should not report them as there is no requirement to have a facial/human profile picture.
