When does an inquiry expire?

Hey folks,

I got an inquiry which I responded to fairly quickly with a clarification of something I was afraid the inqurer had misunderstood. I didn't pre-approve or decline. A few hours later they replied, thanking me but informing me they had booked somewhere else. The inquiry is still open -- is this reflecting on me as a host? How long does it take to expire? I messaged them to cancel/close the inquiry, but nothing has happened.

I agree that the procedure is not entirely clear here. I don't want to lose Superhost status!

As @Cynthia-and-Chris1 suggested, you should be able to decline the enquiry. If not it should expire after 24 hours.
