Departing guests this morning reported the shower was increasingly leaking from the hose attachment.... plumber called and new shower required. He’s whizzed off to town to get one, will it be in time for the guests arriving today.... edge of the seat stuff. Let’s hope they’re pleasant and enjoy a brand new shower. 😂

Done and dusted, guests yet to arrive. Host 1 - problems 0. A good tradesman is always worth knowing and buying a pint in the pub! Happy weekend.

Good going Susan! I dread something going wrong, and it always does when it's the middle of the summer season here and tradesmen are all busy on the big building jobs. I always feel like I have to offer a sacrifice or a first born, and I don't have one of those! I hope they appreciate the lovely new shower!
