Charges for a booking

I seem to get paid differently when I do get paid for hosting.  How do I make sure that the guest is paying for what my bottom line is supposed to be?  Example, if I wish to get paid $75/night.  How do I put this on the pricing page to make sure Airbnb doesn't short me?  How do I make sure that Airbnb pays me the amount shown on the site? Do I need to raise my fees another 3% to cover their administration costs or is this done at their end because at this point it is confusing and frustrating.

@Tricia4@Alan30, there are a number of excellent links to essential information in the Community Help Guides thread that's stickied at the top of the page here (General Hosting).

I strongly recommend you become familiar with them. It will make the hosting experience much smoother.

This one covers how fees are charged.

https://community.airbnb.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/A-Breakdown-of-Airbnb-Guest-Fees-A-Community-Help-Guide/...

The ABB service fee ranges from 6-12%, which is charged to the guest.

You set your own nightly fee (e.g. $75).

(Perhaps you've also included a cleaning fee.)

AirBnB charges a small host fee (e.g. 3%) which is deducted from that.

So yes, it seems that if you wanted to have a full $75 in your hand, you would need to add the host service fee to the price.

The fees are laid out clearly in the guest's itinerary, which you receive once a booking is confirmed.

And here's another informative thread.
