Safety / Security issue

Hello ,

I have noticed a new feature with the website . The guest profile photo is not displayed untill after booking . 

Would someone know the reasons fehind that ?

Seeing someone's face is part of the way we perseive / accept people .

I ,personaly , do not feel confident accepting a guest under my roof ,when i haven't even seen their face. 

Believe that to be a safety / security issue .

There are several long discussions about this same issue, @Stela14 .  Some hosts share your concerns and some do not.   Suggest you search this site for both the Air BNB explanation for changing the profile picture availability along with some very lively discussions for and against the new policy
