Questions for New host

Hi

i will be hosting my first guest in this week and i am not sure what to do with that.

have a few things needs clarification

1. do i need to fill in the registration from to check them in with their proof of id card?

2. i need to collect security deposit from the guest?

as i see in airbnb they don collect the deposit on our behalf

3. the guest profile only hv the contact details and no other informations. is it the way should work in guest profile?

1. Not sure about a log - is that required by law in Malaysia? 
2. You cannot collect a security deposit.  Please read more about this in the help center.
3. If the guest only put in the basics, you will only get the basics.  There are plenty of discussions and articles in the forums about safety and vetting a guest.
