I booked a place and need a bigger place

Hello, i booked a place and now I need a bigger place to accommodate more people. It is not for a few weeks away, will incur fees from airbnb or a bad review? I wish the host had a bigger place as he has been helpful, but nonetheless Im stuck.

You booked a place without knowing how many guests were going on the trip, unless there’s children involved why don't you keep the booking and get the additional guests to book somewhere in the immediate location?

I’m sorry but we all must pay for our mistakes one way or the other.

@Monika251, you need to contact the host and explain the situation. He might be understanding and let you out of the reservation, but he doesn't have to. Many hosts will do so if they can find another guest to fill the dates, so they aren't out the money. Most likely, you will need to pay at least the cancellation fees.
