How Airbnb works?

Hello everyone

This is not a typical issue in this conversation but maybe i am lucky and someone offers its help. I am studying bussines management in Madrid and due to my final project, i am really interested at how Airbnb works, how it has reached its spread around the world and, specially, how this spread has increased the number of tourist all over the world. 

For the one that have kept reading my post, i would really appreciate your help! Maybe answering me some questions about your experience with Airbnb and how this company has helped to you to save some money or maybe to get a new job.
