How come we have house rules if we can’t enforce them or claim for them

for example we have no smoking rule guets smoked on our property and in the home ash was everywhere stunk and even curtains needed laundering extra cleaning costs were accrued but I was told trust and safety did not cover for extra cleaning costs involved in house rules being broken?

@Hannah0, if you have a potential Guest in future that you think may not be 100% obliging to comply with your House Rules before arrival, send a msg asking if they have read and agree to your House Rules.

Meanwhile, if they have smoked inside remember to clean the inside of your windows as the smell etc also lingers on them
