Does AirBnB manage monthly rentals?

Can someone advise me if I am being scammed?

I'm looking to move to Barcelona for 6 moths plus. & I found a listing for a "long-term" apartment in Barcelona that was listed via a third party website for the owner. The third party then got me in touch with the owner who said AirBnB manages her listing and all transcations will be done through them. She is now asking for my: full name, address and duration of the contract, desire check-in date, and a copy of my Passport or ID. I just want to be sure my identity is not going to be stolen and that the money, if and when given, is surely going to AirBnb (and then her) and that I will have an apartment to live in for a few months.

And I am a bit wary because of how good the location is - and how for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom it is only 830 euros.
