'smart pricing' switched back on after unsnoozing

Smart pricing switched back on after unsnoozing my listing!!  And of course it isnt smart enought to figure out a holdiay weekend!!  So my listing which normally gets 180-190 a night for the holiday got booked at $119!!!

Frustrating.  Smart Pricing is only smart for the company, not for the host.  It keeps prices low, and I believe the idea is to get people to use Airbnb over some other platform.  Once they book vial Airbnb, they are likely to stay.

That said, it is super annoying, and is billed as a big help to us, the hosts, which it isn't.  I have it on theoretically, but I override almost all dates anyway, and I set my "smart pricing" minimum higher than what is suggested.  You definitely still need to be vigilant.
