prices-- are they averaged for the guest? is that why the prices are off?

Hi community,

sorry second question of the day ! I just got a request from a guest to stay this weekend Feb. 20th-22nd. I changed my prices this morning due to the air bnb recommendations so my days all have different prices-- a little wacky but hey it was Airbnb's suggestion prices.

The guest is seeing $59x2 nights but when I look at the calendar it says a few different prices that average out to about 59 per night. Is that how this works? I told the guest that I want to check on this before booking him. I double checked my listing says USD etc.

*the last thing I want is to have to do a refund on my first Air bnb guest.

help! and thank you for dealing with my newbie questions.

Yes, Airbnb shows an average of the room price as the nightly price. Eg. if Friday is $60 and Saturday is $80 it will show two nights at $70/night. Just make sure the totals make sense to you and include and cleaning fee and you should be fine. Sometimes Airbnb folds the cleaning fee into the nightly price and sometimes they show it as a separate item.
