Why I don't have an option to Request Reference from another AirBnb/Facebook user?

Hello,

My guest was late to leave feedback. Then I researched that there is a way to request and leave reference to an Airbnb user.

However, when I went to my Reference page in Profile menu, there are only options to view referenes made by me and made for me. But no option to request reference. Was it removed from Airbnb?

Same boat for me. It's been frustrating as one host is requesting references for a stay. From the forums it looks like it was undergoing a 'redesign' but I'm not sure if there have been any updates. It would be great if anyone knows anything (searches on AirBnB itself have been fruitless)
