VAT AND TAXES

Dear all,

I would appreciate your help on some questions that I have. I am a  new host and I rent my space in the Netherlands. I don't do it in a professional way meaning that I only want to chip in the rent that I am paying. The thing is that I don't quite understand how it goes with the VAT charging. I ususally don't charge much and as I understand the VAT 21% is included in the final price. This way I realised that I earn almost nothing. How do I make the pricing so that 21% VAT is added to the price that I charge? In addition, I have questions about the taxes that I have to pay to the Dutch goverment. I mean, do I have to pay additional taxes or since airbnb is involved I don't do anything and airbnb absorbs the tax cahrges? I would really appreciate any helpful comment. Thank you in advance.
