Is there no way to notify air bnb that they arrived?

Hi @Lindsay7

You don't have to notify Airbnb when a guest arrives. Guests are considered checked in and checked out according to the reservation. Since you are a new host here is a link to the Community Help Guides. https://community.airbnb.com/t5/General-Hosting/Community-Help-Guides/m-p/23100#U23100

Thank you for the info:)

I have a book for the guests to sign in when they arrive.  It offers that professional feeling for both you and the guests.  It is nice to get their names, address, email address and the cell phone number that they travel with.  This can be important if they need to be contacted for emergency purposes and if they leave something behind when they leave.  I also take down the car license plate number (guests do not know I do this).  After 25 years in the business, it has just been a security issue for me.

That is a really good idea. Thank you

You dont need to inform anyone that guest arrived.

Good luck 😉

Thanks for the info! Appreciate it
