The Response Time clock isnt working!

The Response Time clock isnt working!

So we are new to this - but we assume that the 'required response time' to maintain the response time %, should have a  number counting down! It just shows 00:00 regardless of its its been 1 minute or 24 hours! This means we miss the odd booking where we are discussing before accepting them!

 

Is there a reason this might be happening? Is there a way to stop it?

@Ann43 It depends on what type of message you are responding to.  Reservation Inquiry or Reservation Request.  Each of these require a different type of response to satisfy as an acceptable reponse for rating purposes.  You should read this help article:

As to your clock staying at 00:00, are you using an app? Try clearing the cache and /or refreshing.  Apps are notoriously glitchy and require constant maintenance. 

Thanks for your response. I'm referring to pending booking requests, not enquiries. The clock only shows 00:00 regardless of if the booking is new or has been sitting there for half a day. I'm using airbnb on a PC, Chrome as the browser.

@Ann43 Hmm, that's very strange.  Despite your clock staying at 00:00, I noticed you have an excellent response rating!  You might get in touch with Airbnb to see if they can help you get the clock started.  Here's how:
