Tenancy rights in Texas?

There's a lot in the forums about tenancy rights in California and New York. (For example, a guest who books for 30 or more days can't be simply asked to leave after that time.) Does anyone have any definitive information (or links to same) about Texas? Being the kind of arrogant, **bleep**-ish state that we tend to be (I'm a native, so I say that with affection), I'm betting that we hardly have any such thing at all, but as a host it would be useful to know the facts. Thanks!

Anyone staying for 30+ days needs to to signe a lease -stating the terms and exact duration of the lease.  So if your lease says they have to be out at the end of 30 days- then that is when they have to be out.

Also no need to collect Occupancy tax on stays over 30 days.
