Superhost requirement

I have been hosting for just over a year now.

I have hosted 38 trips with a 100% response rate,  93% 5 stars and 77% review rate.

I cancelled 1 trip by accident, and that is putting my commitment rate at 97%.

I didn't read what I was clicking, I thought I was declining/ removing a pre-approval for a guest, but instead cancelled their reservation.

This is my fault, and I was wondering if it would still be possible for me to become a superhost?

It was 1 cancellation over half a year ago.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

If you do have a cancellation, you will not be eligible for Super Host for at least a year.  So sounds like you have some more waiting to do.

But after 1 year I will be eligible again? (as long as I do not cancel again, of course)

Thanks for your reply!

@Jin2

Yes, after 1 year you become eligible again

@Jin2  Your one of the lucky ones, now you can just get on with hosting without obsessing about being a "superhost" It makes very little difference to the amount of booking you will get, the most important thing to worry about is the word "clean" being constantly used in your reviews. Being a superhost is something a guest can use as lever to manipulate you into doing what they want because you fear losing it.
