Refunding- when does the money come out of bank

We have had to refund our guests for some days and I wanted to know when this money comes out of our account to pay the guests? It has been 3 business days and AirBnb have not taken the money out of the account. Does anyone know how this works?

Hello Lauren and Vidal -
The refund is credited by Airbnb and they refund the guest directly. The payment that was made to you, you will keep. However, the money will come out of your next reservation so remember what amount owed to your guest will come from your next reservation. The refund to your guest will be subtracted from your new reservation. That's why it is important that you do not tell your guest how much you will be refunding because they are also charged service fees by Airbnb between 6-12 percent and you do not want to pay back the fees you are charged by Airbnb or the fees Airbnb charges the guest. Your cancelation policy will dictate how much the guest will get back so let Airbnb figure it out. It will be to your advantage.
