Re: Short Term Rental Alliance of SD -- City of SD Ordinance

Is this still an active group? I have just looked at your website and there have been  no new blogs or articles posted for nearly a year.

Helen - Yes! STRASD is very much active and involved in continuing discussions with various parties in San Diego to ensure that short-term rentals remain here.  If you are interested in staying in the loop with STRASD I would recommend signing up for our emails on the website (http://www.strasd.org/) and following the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/strasd/).

There have not been many public hearings or official action on this topic in the past months but there will likely be a resumption later this year.  Every voice counts and we welcome all to join STRASD.  Cheers!

Hope you will post here when something important happens.  Also I'll sign up for your emails, but your website really looks like you have all gone away.  You need to post on it every week or potential helpers, like me, won't bother.  Even if you post news from other cities, and there has been a lot, you need to post something so that you look like an active group. It is such a good idea to have a group like this, but if we think you are all asleep we will  not bother with your website.

Hi again,

I have just looked at your fb page from the link above - so on fb you look like a very active group!  Why not also post the same items on your website?  I've 'liked' your fb page and will follow you there.   Hoping so much that Airbnb doesn't get banned in San Diego - however, doubt that will happen as they are getting millions in taxes from us. Yay for taxes, I'm making some money too.
