Pre approval without asking me

Hello

I had a guest calling me and telling me they have booked my place for tomorrow

I did not receive a pre approval and do not have the time to get the place ready 

What can I do for the guest not to be charged?

If the guest agree make cancelation , and offer the full refund by resolution center https://www.airbnb.com/resolution_center

so you can refund them . mean while interact more on your airbnb account so you know what is happining , coz what hapened to you sounds like you enabled the instant book so people can bok the room without your approval .

that is what I did before , I booked a place instantly in Istanbul last time for my vacation but the palce wasn't available, however the host gave me similar other house. coz I liked the location.

@Lela2 you've got instant booking switched on so they didn't need to ask you first.
