Payment changed to $ but shows ZAR

My guests receives my special offer in South African currencty (ZAR), but when she tries to pay it shows she have to pay in $.  So after the offer expired we tried again and the same thing is happening again.  My profile setting shows ZAR and my banking details also shows ZAR. I urgently need help!

Hello @Elmari1,

All payment issues are a matter between the guest and Airbnb. Guests pay Airbnb, they don't pay the host.

There's nothing hosts can do except to suggest to the guest that they contact Airbnb support.

Neither guests nor hosts can specify the currency that they pay in or get paid in. Airbnb determines it.

Can I pay with any currency?

Can I choose my payout currency?

Thanks Steve - I know the payment is between Airbnb and the guest but the guest in a South African and I am a South African host, my profile is set up in ZAR but it shows that they should pay in dollar?  This is the second month that they are staying with me and in August there wasn't any problems for them paying Airbnb.

However we will try again tomorrow.
