New Host. Canceled IB Guest who booked for 1x but tried to accommodate 7x

The Situation:

The Outcome:

 

Airbnb canceled and deleted:

1. blocked dates

2. autoreview

 

There is no cancelation cost for a IB Host until after the third guest cancelation

 

My Advice:

Get the Guest to cancel. Ring Airbnb rather than listen to the doom & gloom merchants. As long as your listing is tight. As long as the Guest violated your House Rules and/or other conditions listed. As long as this is not a recurring theme and indicative of your management style. You should be right.

Hi, yes same thing happened to me when he called to confirm his arrival.  I sent change of reservation to accommodate the new number of guests 9X since my listing is big.

Then guest refused the change with new price after the 4th guest . 

I chatted "you refused to pay new booking while you're booking for only 4X" he said yes cancel the booking.

I cancelled and had the review and blocked calendar and after the third day I emailed Airbnb and explained all. Second day they sent me price of 2nights and waive the review.
