My guest has not received their refund

I had to cancel a reservation which was made many months in advance due to a family issue. The guests were staying for two months and although the reservation was cancelled over 10 days ago they STILL have not received their refund. I feel bad enough I had to cancel but now they are feeling more than a little stressed as they haven't yet received their money. How can this be expedited?

This is an issue between AirBnB and the guest as you never received any money - although I can understand you feel responsible there is nothing you can do. Depending on the country and means of payment, etc, refunds can take up to two weeks.
