@Molly5 You should contact your guest right away and reconfirm by messaging that they still want the reservation.  If so, contact Airbnb to work out the reservation.  Careful with that cancellation button!

This is our first esperience booking with airbnb. I accidentally cancelled a reservation then rebooked within 20 minutes.

I don't want to be charged the absurd $77.00 nonrefundable service fee for a rookie mistake.

Is there a human that exists somewhere I can contact about this?

Yes, there are a variety of ways to get in touch with Airbnb.  The fastest way is through twitter @airbnbhelp.  They respond in minutes.  You can also call, but there might be a long wait time...sometimes up to 30 minutes.  Here's a link to find out all the ways to contact Airbnb:

Is it possible the system cancels a reservation for a host? I’ve had one host cancel a reservation & I found another host and then they cancelled. 

@Kelsey123  Yes, there can be glitches on the system.  Perhaps message the hosts to ask if they cancelled the reservation themselves or if it was done without their knowledge.
