High Cancelation Rate In Las Vegas?

I've had three hosts cancel on me in the last year.  One canceled a six week reservation the day before I was to check in.  Is this common in Vegas?  Is this common in other cities?

Leaving travelers high and dry is a bad way to conduct business and reflects poorly on the host site.

We have a cottage an hour and a half away from LV if that helps.  Wild West Historic Mining town Homestead.

I have had guest cancel on me. Very disappointing.

Hello!! I am so sorry to hear that! I do not believe it is common. I have had maybe 60 renters (I am a Las Vegas host), and I only had to cancel one. It was my first reservation and there was a lot of confusion between the renter and myself. I had not canceled anything since my first rental. I do not believe it is common
