I had a guest request to stay with me Sunday evening overnight which I replied to within 30minutes advising of availability.  Then she later cancelled stating it was due to no reply.  Has anyone else experienced this as it is not the first time in which this has occurred?

Hi @Julie374 Did you reply using the Airbnb messaging system from your laptop or desktop or did you text your reply to the phone number that was shown on your mobile phone? The guest's actual mobile phone number is not the one that comes up - I noticed this as the area codes were always wrong. Others will know a lot more about this than I do, I'm sure, but I have found the phone numbers that show up on my phone to be wacky, so I always use the messaging system on the website instead.
