Guests using coupon codes

I'm new to hosting. Someone is using a coupon code to book at my place. So I assume they get a discount, but I still get my rate? Is this correct?

Unless you made the coupon I can't see why not. I'm not sure if anyone ever used one for a stay with me, but I've never received less than my charge minus 3%. If it ever did happen there's be heck to pay! But seriously I'm sure airbnb covers the costs of their own promotional coupons.
