Guest has not turned up

Hi, I had a guest due to arrive at 10.00 am GMT today. It is now 15.45 pm. They have not responded to my communication. The weather is bad here today so perhaps they decided to not come? They were flying over. Or perhaps, even though they said they would arrive at 1000 in the morning, i wonder if they will arrive at 2200 hrs? If they arent coming (booked for 3 days) I would rather not wait in for them as it is the holiday season and i could be spending it with my relatives. What is the protocol?

Contact Airbnb, @Simon308.  Since you are not getting a response, Airbnb will work on your behalf.  If the guests are a no-show, you will still be paid.  If they meet the Extenuating Circumstances policy, however, they may be entitled to a refund, so I would not share the weather with Airbnb - make the guest work through that option.  If, at this point, you want to cancel so you can go do something else - you will be held to cancellation penalties - so consider this carefully.  Otherwise, if Airbnb cannot get ahold of them, they will cancel on your behalf.

Many thanks for your prompt response. The weather now is actually very nice with pink sunset skies. I will give my guests the benefit of the doubt and await their response. Although i suspect i have been 'ghosted' and they have opted not to come to London. Thanks once again!

I am currently at Stansted Airport waiting for my flight home, @Simon308, which is already 2 hours delayed on departure. And all here is a mess - a lot of flights are cancelled or delayed. Check the flight on which your guests should have arrived on.
