Fraud Review Process?

Hello,

 

We are new to airbnb and have just hosted our first guests for a 14 night reservation - they checked out two days ago. To date we have have not received the payout from this booking. When we called to check, we were told that our account is frozen pending a 'Fraud Review'. Multiple calls to Customer Service have resulted in no communication whatsoever why we are in this situation. The only answer we get is 'The fraud team will contact you'. There seems to be no way to escalate this to get a response. I haven't been able to find anything on the forums relating to fraud reviews. The only thing we can think of is that our payout bank account is in Bermuda Dollars (local currency tied to USD) and airbnb does not recognise this currency - it has registered the account as USD.

 

Does anyone know what this is about and what could have caused it?
