First time using AirBnB: Miami Christmas 2018

Hi all,

we are a family of four (2 kids; 4 and 7 yo). We are planning a vacation in Miami during christmas and New Year in Miami (preferably on Miami Beach).

We are totally new on AirBnB, and have few questions:

How far in advance are flats our for rent? We are looking now, and there are a few available, and I dont know whether its because there is a long time before the stay, or that they are sold out very quckly?

Also, anything we should be aware of before booking?

@Dino33 the decision about how far in advance flats are for rent is up to the individual hosts. Normal choices for how far in advance include 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, a year, or longer.

Many hosts choose 3, 6, and 9 months in advance, so you should expect more listings to become available in the future.

If this is your first time traveling on AirBnB, your should probably choose a listing with a lot of good reviews, and probably with a SuperHost. This increases the chance you will really enjoy your stay.

Thats also what I imagined.

I will look for reviews, I think this makes it much more transparent to choose a good listing.
