Early cancellation to a long term reservation

I would like to ask whether I can terminate my stay early? I have the current reservation for March 1 - April 5, but would like to terminate it March 17. The host has a "Long term cancellation policy". But I would like to pursue a way to find another accomdation. for the rest of my stay in NYC.

The current apartment, on the surface, has proven to be similar to the listing description, but after a few days - there has been a few functional issues. The shower is clogged, toilet not flushing and persists to clog. Heater is extremely loud. I am unable to get sleep because of the number of various noises throughout the night.

@Vivi1 My advice would be to contact Airbnb with the listing deficiencies you have encountered.  On your itinerary is a phone number to reach Airbnb.  Perhaps they can help you with the cancellation.
