I am a first time Air Bnb host, I have some guests arriving soon and Air Bnb sent me an email saying they made a deposit of 1 Cent and it will be from ''WORDPLAY'' though it was called ''Envoy Services'' is that still okay?

I do not think it has anything to do with your guests but rather with your payment options setup.  

To me it sounds like PayPal/Credit Card verification procedure.

Payouts from airbnb are marked as Worldpay on your statement - it it say Worldplay as you are indicating, it may be something fishy.

I got exatly the same thing. I am supposed to be paid out in one week. Did payment come through for you ok? 

(ps. I live in Sydney too, Glebe) maybe it has a different name on the statement for Australians?
