For the multitude of hosts that ask this question in the community, here is the answer.

Simple, don´t. 

You will either waste your time or be open to being scammed/robbed. 

This includes organising a viewing prior to someone "making a booking".

@Marcus0 I just learned that the email link which airbnb provides does not copy the conversation into the chat system (at least not that I can see). Do you know if using the masked airbnb email address causes the email to be logged somewhere?

@Frank10 personally i do not use the airbnb email link so cannot answer your question.  I either log in into a PC or use the app to communicate.  BTW i nearly missed your question, you should hit the @ symbol next time then i get an alert 🙂
