Cancellation

Guest cancelled their stay for November but the site says that I cancelled the reservation. How do I fix this when there is no way to get a hold of Airbnb directly?

Hi @Maya-And-Matt0 - chances are you did inadvertently cancel the reservation through no fault of your own. Are the dates now blocked? If so, you definitely did. Air BNB has started a new feature - giving the guest the option to ask the host to cancel. The host recieves a notice which asks if they are ok with the cancellation & most of us would naturally respond "yes". It's the wrong answer. If you say yes, you are the one who is canceling. If you say no, you're fine to host these guests, then it goes back to the guest to cancel. There are several posts on this if you do a search. Extremely frustrating!
