Cancellation by Mistake

Dear all,

my guest's little sister cancelled the trip by mistake. The guest wants to stay at my place exactly as it was arranged. My cancellation policy is strict, and at the moment, it says she will be charged half of the paid money.

What do we need to do in order to get things back to the situation prior to cancellation?

Your guest should get in touch with Airbnb customer service. If she rebooks with you, she would be charged the Airbnb service fee again.

If AirBnB refuse to help - then of course you can always just let the guest come and stay but you would be operating outside their platform and protection..
