Can I accept a guest after declining?

Is it possible to accept a reservation from a guest that I have previously declined for the same dates?

Here is my situation: I recieved a request from someone who has no reviews and only verified their phone and email address. I asked her to please complete Airbnb's verified ID before I accept her request.

If her ID does not get verified before the 24 hour window, I will have to decline her request so it does not reflect poorly on my response time.

If her ID gets verified later on, and she requests the same dates again, will I be able to accept someone I already delcined?
